Recording Requirements

UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) Information


Effective July 1, 2001 all UCCs are to be recorded in the Secretary of States office, except Fixture Filings which are recorded locally.

Payment


The Register of Deeds Office accepts only cash or checks for Recording Documents. If you are writing a check it should be made payable to Iredell County Register Of Deeds. If you are writing a personal check please include your phone number and a copy of your identification when mailing that to our office. Our mailing address is:

Tax Certification


Iredell County does not require Tax Certification from the Tax Collector before recording deeds.
