About the “Thank-A-Veteran” Program

The Iredell County Register of Deeds is proud to partner with area businesses to honor the service and sacrifice of the Veterans in our county by providing exclusive discounts and incentives.

The Register of Deeds office will provide Veterans with a special photo ID card that can be used at participating businesses throughout Iredell County. The program is free of charge to all Veterans as well as our business partners.

To receive a complimentary discount card, a Veteran will need to visit the Iredell County Register of Deeds office either in Statesville or Mooresville between 8:30am and 4:30pm and bring the following:

1. A valid photo ID (state-issued driver’s license, military ID card or passport)
2. Veteran’s original DD-214, unless already on record at the Iredell County Register of Deeds Office.  If you do not have the original document, please contact Iredell County Veterans Services for assistance.

Once you have been issued a “Thank-A-Veteran” Discount Card, simply present the card at any of the participating businesses to receive the discount.

Iredell County Register of Deeds invites you to join the growing list of businesses that are showing their appreciation for veterans through this unique program. Please click on the link to view and download the sponsorship form.  

Iredell County Register of Deeds will provide a window cling to display in your business to show customers and our Veterans that you are a participant in the “Thank-A-Veteran” Program.  Additionally, your business will be listed on the Iredell County Register of Deeds “Thank-A-Veteran” Program website. To join others who are participating, please submit the completed sponsorship form.   You may fax it to (704) 878-5426 or email it to renee.holland@co.iredell.nc.us.
